If you have filed I-485, you can apply for advance parole to travel, or apply for the H-1/H-4 visa to come back if your current status is H-1/H-4. You can not apply for F-1/F-2, J-1/J-2 or B-1/B-2 visa anymore after you begin to apply for green card.
