请教８老师及各位前辈：１４０(EB1-B)已经批了，４８５于去年１２底提交，H１B今年９月１日过期（已经是第二个H１B）。

１。是不是只要１４０批了，４８５基本会批，只是时间问题？
-Right as long as you keep the job.

２。如果绿卡在９月１日之前没批下来的话，怎样在美国工作？驾照９月１日也过期了。
-Need EAD to work and DL renew.

３。儿子今年４，５月想大学暑期实习，可以用EAD工作吗？
-Yes, but his F-1 status will be affected (it does not matter to him due to his pending I-485, anyway).
