我是学校的postdoc,老板突然通知没钱了，学校秘书说会给我多发一个月工资，现在我已经在新的地方开始工作， 联系前老板秘书关于一个月工资的事情，被告知因为 H1B的原因不能给我发这个工资。这样合理吗？ 有没有可能为自己争取到应得的利益，非常感谢
-H-1 holder has the same right for the benefits as the other employees such as US citizen and green card holder. So, if this benefit policy applies to all the other employees who are or will be laid off, it also applies to you and of course, you have the right to claim it. So, talk to Human Resources, and they can not discriminate an H-1 holder like you (this is violation of the law).
