我老爸刚在两个星期前持探亲来美和我一家住一起。我现在想为老爸申请绿卡。

1）请问我现在这么快为他办行吗？
-Had better wait for about 3 months after he came to US.

2）请问是否寄材料去移民局（芝加哥）？
-Check this website:
http://www.uscis.gov/i-130-addresses

不能直接去本地移民局递交材料？
-Right.

3）是否I130 和 I485同时file？还需其他材料吗？
-Yes, send all of the documents such as I-130, I-485, etc. to the address from above website.

4）现在会等很久吗？
-Case by case.

如超过半年探亲签证，可以在美国境内等吗？
-Yes.
