就要给父母申请绿卡了。听同事讲，有绿卡以后，每年来住几个月就好，有人甚至一年只来几星期。可是我父母跟人聊天。别人告诉最近规则改变，每年必须来美国住8个月。请问有人听说过8个月么? 还是几个月都行? 谢!
-They can not stay outside US for > one year continuously unless they have reentry permit. If they travel between China and US too often, they may have trouble at the port of entry even if they only stay in China for a few months each time. Please remember the green card if for them to live in US permanently, not for them to use it just as a border-crossing card.
