FBI name check response

It seems FBI stopped the telephone service, now e-mail instead.

I sent e-mail on Oct. 6, 2004, got reply today. I was told no request received from USCIS concerning my daughter's case and suggested recontacting the local USCIS office. However, we were told to wait for the check at interview 9 months ago. We submited I-485 about 3 years ago to Vermont center. Only my daughter's case is held.
