求教各位大侠，朋友帮母亲申请绿卡已经面试了两次（因出生公证和无犯罪记录公证书问题在11月又因要求去了一趟移民局）。现国内的继父（朋友母亲再婚，继父住在国内,未申请绿卡）病重，朋友母亲需回国，请问在绿卡未批准前可以回国吗？需要办理什么手续吗？
-Does she have advance parole in hand? If no, she needs to go to the local USCIS Office to get the emergency advance parole to the travel. Bring a completed Form I-131, passport, I-485 receipt and the evidence of the emergency, i.e. the illness proof (Dr. letter/diagnosis, or hospital letter)-translate it into English by your friend himself, not need to notarize it. The proof can be scanned in China and email to your friend.
