我的父母于十月底来美国, 但入境时只给四个月时间. 他们订了六个往返机票. 本来这次就想给他们申请绿卡. 现在又要申请延期. 请问8老师可以先申请延期, 使二月底在申请绿卡吗?
-Yes, but they even do not need to waste the money and time to extend the B-2 status. Their illegal stay does not affect their green card application. But they need to apply for the advance parole to travel after they apply for the green card, not B-2 visa anymore.
