H1B vs J1 and I140

I applied I140 with my J1 visa last month. Now I want to change my J1 visa to H1B Visa because my J1 wavier has been approved recently. But I am not sure if the visa change will affect my I140 application. I will highly appreciate it if someone can share your experience here. Thank you!
