请教皮匠老师, 8老师Need for help (urgent):

我的PERM去年11月13号submitted.
我的H1B(六年）今年9月31号到期，这六年中有35天回国。PERM 还没批下来， H1B extension 本应今年9月底submit.
今天HR过来传公司律师的话，H1B extension 只能在PERM submission date一周年后才能 submit,
我从明天开始不能到公司上班（其实从这月5号开始，就是非法工作）。我的问题是：H1B
extension 只能在PERM submission date一周年后才能 submit吗？有啥办法？
