现在想给哥哥一家办绿卡，有几个问题想请教。
1. 现在排期需要十几年。假如办下来了，是需要马上到美国来吗？
-If he gets the immigration visa, he needs to enter US within 6 months from the date the visa is offered (the visa is effective for 6 months).

还是可以等个一两年。一般可以用什么理由推迟一两年呢？

2.等待期间，还能申请探亲签证来美国短期玩一下吗？
-Fine.

3.必须同时给哥哥，嫂子还有他们的孩子同时申请，还是可以分开？可以只给他们的孩子申请吗？
-You only can file one I-130 for your brother. When the priority date is current (排期到), his family members can apply for the immigration visa together with him.
