父母B2签证昨天LAX入境，过关时没有被询问任何问题，一句话没有讲，直接给签了一个月的有效停留，

请问老师怎么样可以延长？他们是买了5个月的往返机票的
-Check their I-94 at the following website to see when their I-94 expires:

If the I94 duration is only for one month, they may go to the local CBP Deferred Inspection Office to see whether they can get the I-94 extension, especially if it is their first time to use this visa to enter US. If they can not get the extended I-94 there, they have to file I-539.

 是不是只有填I-539表格申请一种办法呢？我大致查了一下说必须要有充分的理由才能申请延期，怎么算充分的理由呢？

除了I-539申请真的没有别的办法了么？
