我朋友在帮妈妈申请绿卡...已按了指纹，安排了面试。然后母亲急病，因资金问题回国动手术而不能去面试...想申请面试改期。把医生证明交上去后，移民局无任何答复...请问是不是因为方法不对？
-Where did you send this 医生证明 and 申请改期?  Has your mother received the appointment notice for the interview yet? If yes, she needs to go to the local USCIS, where the interview will take place, to ask the reschedule (bring the 医生证明  and the appointment notice); or mail the request of reschedule in writing (enclose the 医生证明  and the appointment notice) to the local USCIS Office where the interview will take place.

可以申请改期吗？应该走什么程序呢？大谢！！
