-I-130 does not matter to J-1 holder, but it will be a problem in I-485 or immigration visa application if they don't have J-1 waiver or stay in home country for at least two years..

是不是加籍父母以前的J1签证经历不影响申请美国绿卡了?
-If your parents got the J-1 visa from China to enter US before they became the permanent resident of Canada or Canadian citizen and they did not return to China to live for two years or not got the J-1 waive, they will have trouble to get the I-485 approval or immigration visa.

The J-1 two-year home resident requirement still applies to them no matter what citizenship they have currently and how long the time has passed since their J-1 ended.
