140已经批准，485 pending, 申请了EAD/AP。但是一个月前只收到了paper 的 EAD Approval Notice (I-765)（包括AP）；网上查 EAD／AP combo card 一个月前就寄出了, 地址也没错, 邮局tracking number也显示delivered， 可一直就是没收到 combo card. 天天和邮局打架，一周了也没结果。打电话到移民局给做了service request，但说要1月后才能再打电话问结果. 我问： 届时会是什么结果，居然说不知道。我有以下问题麻烦8老师给澄清一下：

最近有急事要回国，必须有EAD／AP combo card才行吧？
-Correct.

那个paper 的 EAD Approval Notice（包括AP）不能用吧？
-No. But because it has been approved and if someone receive it later and mail it to you, you will be fine to use it to come back. The risk is that if the AP is not received, you will be trouble to come back.

好像只能做加急AP？加急AP好像只能是近亲属有急病这个原因吗？
-Because the AP has been approved, I am not sure whether the local office will issue the emergency AP to you, but it does not hurt you to try.

这是我第1个EAD, H1B下个月就过期，本来想用EAD了，所以就没有延期H1B，届时可以凭 paper的EAD Approval Notice 工作吗?
-As long as your employer agree you to work, it is fine for to continue your job due to the EAD approval (it is legal for you to work, but your employer also has the right to stop your work because you can not show them your EAD).

还是必须等到再申请收到EAD／AP combo card？ 如果必须等，由于H1B下个月就到期，新卡肯定拿不到了；那么工作（工资）应当停下来吗？这个工作gap对未来的绿卡批准有影响吗？
