现在我是H-1b签证，准备跳槽。已经收到offer letter，正在办理h-1b transfer，根据规定，收到移民局的filing receipt后即可开始工作。

 

假如filing receipt是在5号收到，新单位的start day 是10号。那么老单位的last day能是5号吗？如果能的话，我想利用5号到10号这段时间搬到新单位的州去（东西很多，路途很远）。如果老单位的last day和新单位的first day之间必须衔接，不能有gap的话，同学们都怎么搬家？多谢！
