-Not affect his existed status.

和提交I-485后一样具有AOS身份吗？
-No. He has to have a status, not like AOS. He has to go to China to get the immigration visa if his CSPA age is > 21 when your PD is current again. If < 21, he can either file I-485 or apply for immigration visa in China.
