急问8 老师 ， 140filed, layoff

做了一些research,还是要请教一下。
本人 h1b just renew ,with i94, expire to 2017, eb2, 140 has approved, 485 has not filed, next month, the priotity date is current.
now, still employed, but has a chance to be fired in the next week. ( 6/16 week).

1. If i am laid off next week, can I Still legally stay in us?  Or I only get 30 days.
2. Could I transfer to f or b visa? As my 140 has been approved. Any other way to stay in us legally?

3. If I manage to get all the documentation ready to file 485 earlier next month, and the employer didn't notify immigrant office, could I still file 485. And find another Job ASAP?  I believe my last paycheck will be at 6/30/2014

4. If I find another employer, the h1b I apply is not restricted ,right? 

5.if there is a more than one month gap between my old job and new h1b application, is it ok, ( 2 or 3 months).
