8老师，您好，前两天我在版上发帖子求教了您关于我老婆485面临被拒的问题（详情如下），得到您热心的帮助，首先感谢您。昨天我们 收到了一封来自local office 的信，并没有要求关于 新的I94的信息，而是要求提供居住城市警察局出具的在美期间的记录 （police clearance letter）。不明白为什么要这个东西？
