The officer refused to listen to our explanation at all at landing and refused us to enter Canada with our son. So we went back to US. The next morning, we went to the Canadian Consulate and waited about 3-4 hours to have my son be added to the landing paper. When we went to landing again, we got no problem. Good luck.
