孩子可以和我申请公民吗?

I am qualified for applying for the US citizen now. I had a kid who is 11 years old. Are he qualified for applying for the citizenship as me ?  We plan to go back to China for a year after the citizenship application is approved.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
