给持有绿卡的父亲申请Re-entry Permit（I-131)已经快3个月了，期间经历了未收到打指纹的通知，给移民局打电话后才约1月初打的指纹，现在case status 仍然是initial review. 因父亲办Re-entry Permit的初衷就是回国照顾在国内生病的母亲，没有想到这么不顺利。
请问8老师，如果指纹已经打好了，是不是我父亲就可以离开美国了？
-Yes.

还是他必须等到Re-entry Permit正式批下来？
-Not necessary. You can mail the approved RP to him after you receive it. Had better use registered mail so that you can track the mail in case it is lost.
