H1-B status

I-485, EAD and AP filed and received the receipts; waiting for fingerprint notice.
Questions:
1. Can we leave the US to Canada and come back now?
-Yes. You can use the H-1/H-4 I-94 to come back if you will return to US within 30 days.

2. Can we(or my wife) cancel our(her) EAD and AP applications and stay on H1-B status since we have not granted EAD and AP?
-Not need to cancel anything. It does not affect anything, You can use the AP to travel later after it is approved. Your travel with H-1 does not affect the pending AP/EAD application.
