Yes, i was interviewed on 10/31/2013 for N-400 application. Although I did not say I was a member of communist party, i filed an amendment. Should I ask a waiver before filing i-485? But my previous lawyer never told me about it when I filed this amendment.
-It seems USCIS misunderstood your case. Now you just need to file N-336 for hearing and justify that you had explained your Party membership during your I-485 filing (provide the evidences) and you will be fine.  Had better find a lawyer (either hire or consult) to help you.
