Both my husband and I were US citizen when we adopt him

2 years ago, we adopted him inside US. F1 visa.
He has no green card yet

From your answer, it seems that he cannot get green card before his 18 years borthday. We can apply green card at March 2014. He is not going to receive the card in a month
So I am going to go with the first lawyer. Right? Thank you so much
