帮父母申请绿卡, 要求补件>

我用的是12 年前我出国时办的出生公证.

天收到补件信, 要求我的

BIRTH BRTIFICATE.

conjunction with primary and contemporaneous secondary evidence: old land deeds

countries that have reliable public documents; school and medical records.
 

Please submit a complete copy of your birth certificate, which shows the name
 

of the beneficiary as your natural parents.

 我该用什么？重新办出生公证？旧户口簿？你们有类似的经历或经验吗？谢谢。
-It seems this IO is very picky or inexperienced because normally USCIS know most Mainland-China born adult do not have the Birth Certificate like American, and they accept the Notarial Birth Certificate of the Chinese.

If you have 旧户口簿 which include you and your parents, then you may just do this 旧户口簿公证 and provide the copy of it with the copy of your old notarial birth certificate. Otherwise, if you do not have 旧户口簿, you may just do a family relationship of you and your parents (家庭关系) 公证 and then  provide the copy of it with the copy of your old notarial birth certificate.
