Agreed. I applied my brother i-130 about two years ago. This May I applied him B1/B2, and granted. VO just asked him what his wife's job and why she did not apply B1/B2. He told VO she's still working. No other questions asked. So try it and what you gonna to loose ? (oh well, some money at most.)
