美国公民给B2母亲递交绿卡申请, 按两次手印后 ,(第一次手印没过), 后来收到移民局的信, notice of potential interviwe waiver case 之后就没消息了.从最后收到信到现在已经又过 了4个月.

现在母亲想回国住一年半载,请问是否应该申请回美证才可以回国?-Yes. She needs to have the approved advance parole (AP) for the travel and has to return to US before the AP expires (AP is valid for one year).

下次来美国是否需要去美国领事馆拿签证?-No more. Just use the AP to reenter US.

是否回影响母亲拿绿卡?-No if using AP.
