前段时间发过一个帖子，询问父母持绿卡在国内居留超过半年（重病）少于一年回美的问题，是乎问题不大。
 

现在情况发生变化，母亲被诊断出得了癌症，已经手术切除还在医院治疗。由于术后要经历至少6次化疗，化疗结束后她在中国的居留时间就会超过一年，这样超过一年持绿卡回美是不是就不行了？有什么办法可以使得她在康复后仍然能够持绿卡回到美国？

However, your father needs to return to US before his stay in China reaches one year, then he can apply for reentry permit to company your mother in China.
