我们的情况是EB2的485已经递交，如果顺利得话，再等半年可能拿到绿卡。但主申请人H1B六年马上就要到期了。我们现在纠结是用EAD还是延期H1B （副申请人已经开始用EAD）. 我们的问题是：
1） 485被据的可能性有多大？（主申请人工作稳定， 申请绿卡期间没有换工作，一直是同一职位但最近有一次升职）

2） 如果最坏的情况发生，485被拒， 有什么补救的办法吗？听说可以appeal 485, 485就会变成pending状态，那样就可以延期H1B了。
-You can file Motion to reopen, but you can not extend your H1 anymore if your 6 year H-1 expired. You only can extend your H1 beyond the 6 year H-1 limit before your 6 year H1 time run out. So, it is a little risky if you don't extend your H-1 beyond the 6 year limit by this time. So, you need ot make a decision by yourself.

Of course, the H4 holder does not matter whether to extend H4 or not.


但是那时H1B已经有了gap,还能延期吗？
