本人是EB２，排期是０８年的１０月，１２年初交了４８５，按目前这情形，可能在１
０月之前很难被批了。公司最近在变动，有可能在１１，１２月的时候裁员。这几天公
司律师问我要不要renew H１B。如果renew了H１B，被裁的时候如果绿卡没批，公司会
在几个星期之内通知移民局，这样估计就更没希望了。我想干脆用EAD，这样即使被裁
了，移民局应该也不会马上知道，说不定能赶上绿卡批，不过如果没找到工作，又被
refer的话，就完蛋了。想听听大家的意见，这种情况怎么办才对自己最有利。多谢！！
-How much time your 6-year H-1 is still left? If your 6 year H-1 will be used up very soon (.e.g. October), you may just extend it beyond the 6 year limit. If there is more time left (e.g. 6 months or more), you may use EAD.
 Because if your 6 year H1 run out and your I-485 is denied, you can not get the H-1 in US unless you stay outside US for one year. If you extend it beyond the 6 year limit, your H-1 is not subjected to time limit anymore and thus you can get back to H1 any time if your I-485 is denied; or if your H-1 6 year time is not used up yet and you use EAD to stop the H1 clock,  you can also get back to H1 any time if your I-485 is denied.
