是不是更新sevis信息的期限过了，不能更新了？
-It is possible because the new I-20 has been issued for a while (somewhat late to put it into SEVIS). But it is not a problem because your F-1 status is based on your old I-20 by present. So, just ask them to issue a new I-20 with the effective date on the start date of Fall Semester and then, put the new issued I-20 information into SEVIS. That is all. Just explain it to them based on my comments because they may not understand it well.
Another choice is that do nothing, and just use the old I-20 to study, and get the SSN to work. That I-20 is still effective until it expires in 2016 unless a new I-20 replace it in SEVIS. You can renew the I-20 if you can not finish your study in 2016 when the old I-20 expires.
