8老师: is U.S. passport required to apply greencard for my parents

I am a U.S. citizen via naturalzaiton. I am applying green cards for my parents. I only have naturalization certificate and I have not applied for U.S. passport yet. Is it enough to only provide my naturalization certificate copy or I need to provide U.S. passport as well?
