从现在开始要再等3，4 天” ， 这个3，4天是怎么来的呢？她已经订了8月6号（星期二的票）。这个很重要吗？是不是因为她离开美国时要交回她现在的i-94, 可能会影响移民局的i-485输入系统？如果真是很重要的话，可以让她改机票到星期五。。。
-The applicant has to be physically present in US to file I-485. If she leaves US before USCIS receives her I-485, her I-485 filing will be invalid (equal to her absence in US to file I-485).
So, to be 100% safety, she had better leave US on Thursday or later if she mailed out the I-485 application on August 1 using overnight Express mail (because August 3 and 4 are Sat. and Sun., USCIS may not work).  If she mailed out the application on July 31, then it probably be fine for her to leave on August 6, Tuesday.

她只是最近这次短期回去用现在有效的h1b 签证回美国，当然，她已经和她老板谈了，她的工作肯定是可以保持的。只是想再下次等拿到批准的ap 和work permit 以后，如果需要回国一段时间（两三个月）照顾妈妈的话，即使没有工作的情况下也可以用批准的ap返回美国。这样应该没什么问题吧？
