老家有人认识一对夫妻8月份要生一个男孩，他们已经有一个男孩，想要一个女孩，所以想把男孩送人。我现在拿的是绿卡，不过明年就可以申请加入美国国籍。不知道是不是可以先领养这个孩子，放在父母那儿带到明年，明年我拿到美国国籍以后再带入美国。谢谢各位！

-If you adopt the child before you become a US citizen, the child has to live with you physically for two years, then you can be qualified for sponsoring him the green card. The child may apply for B2 visa to enter US in this case (just try it).

If you adopt the child after you become a US citizen, the child can immediately apply for the immigration visa to enter US to become green card holder and US citizen after the adoption. But adoption procedure is somewhat complicate.
