8老师好，用过AP，成了AOS，是否把H1 extention，妻子可用新的797 去签H4

再请教8 老师， my H1B (I-797) will expire in three months and now I am AOS staus becase of once using AP. IF I ask for an extention of my H1B,  and send the new copy of I-797 to my wife in China; I wonder if she can use it to apply for a H4 visa without my going back to china? In other word, I don't need to 激活H1B by going back to china, while my wife can apply H4 visa in china?
