请教各位老师

有一问题，男孩申请fafsa时，"selective service" 一项是不是一定要填“yes"，我们还没拿到绿卡，485pending ，不想当兵，如果回答不的话，申请资助是不是不会被批准？请知道的老师给解答一下，谢谢！
