In my mother's case, as long as the 130/485 is concurrently filed soon, she won't have any overstay regardless the outcome of b2extension. In another word, her current status is not counted as overstay, because b2extension is pending. Once gc petition filed, her status will become adjust status. Is my understanding correct?

-Correct if their B2 extension application was filed before the I-94 expired.
