1. F-1 可以免社保和医疗税. This is true if you are in U.S for less than 5 years.

2. 我还能和我先生联合报税吗. It depends. Sometimes separated filing will lower your tax, e.g. if you have child as dependent. Try both to see which one can lower your tax
