parents green card application

I applied green cards for my  parents last July and they had finger print done in the middle of August.Since then, we have never heard from USCIS any more.The I-130 status always show initial review and I called USCIS 1800 number twice and no use.My father had eye problem and want to go back to china to have the surgery, but the green card application is still pending.Is there any pay I can do?Does info pass works after 180 days past application?
