老公7月底从公司的一个Campus搬到另一个Campus（分属不同城市，但在同一个County,相距12miles），是整个小组都搬过去，除了办公地点变了，其它什么都没有变。现在公司律师说要办H1 Amendment，但是要交$5,000,估计老公的老板不太愿意，我也觉得律师要得太多（觉得哈，我没有根据），现在的H1明年9月到期。想问一下，这种情况一定要办那个Amendment吗？
-Had better file it in case USCIS do on-site inspection of your H1 though the chance is small. Normally the lawyer fee for H1 should be lexx than $1,000. If > $1000, it is too expensive.
可以不用律师自己办吗？
-If your employer agree and you know how to do it (it is very simple procedure), you may prepare the paper work an your employer sign it.
还有一个选择就是用EAD，但觉得排期遥远，比较玄。
-If you have EAD, you may not need too do the H1 amendment, thus if USCIS do on-site H1 inspection, you can say you have EAD to work (renew your EAD from time to time). If they do not do on-line inspection, then you just renew your H1 in advance up to 6 months for the the new work site before your current h1 expires.
