申请公民是否可同时保留绿卡

各位老师，我在国内是离休职工，现在居住美国并持有绿卡已经5年多了。现在很想入美国籍，但又想保留我的绿卡。怎么办？有朋友告诉我说当面试时就说绿卡丢了。那移民居还会让我入籍吗？多谢！
