当前情况: 485已经于January/2012提交. 三月已有EAD. 排期是September/2007. 九月底H-1B身份六年到期(于2009已renew一次). 十月排期退回July/2007.
问题: My H-1B还可以再一次延期3年?

还是一年? Today is already in the middle of September. If I apply for another H1B renewal, I believe it will not get approved by the end of the month. So is my status still in valid H1B status when I am waiting for the H1B renewal approval after the end of the month?
-You can continue to work using H1 (during the H1 extension pending) if you file the H1 petition before your current H1 expires. If you do not file the H1 before H1 I-94 expires, you have to use EAD and you will not come back to H1 anymore unless you go out of US for one year.
Or am I automatically switched into AOS status with my EAD card? If I am switchd into AOS status and my H-1B is renewed successfully for another 1 or 3 years but my 485 is denied later on, is my renewed H1B still valid? Or am I automatically switched back to H1B status? If not, then no necessary to apply for another H1B renewal, correct?
