请问老师，我想申请H1B和H4延期。已经有EAD了。我老公刚刚要用EAD开始工作，那他是不是就不可以申请H4延期了？

-Correct. He does not need to extend his H4 if he wants to work. But you had better extend your H1. Thus, if your I-485 and his I-485 are denied, you still have your H1 status, and then, he just needs to go to China to apply for the H4 visa to come back to return to his H4 status.

我们是否应该先申请H4延期，等批准后再用EAD开始工作。
