If you think you are qualified for NIW and you are working in school, ask your boss to help you for Eb1b. Otherwise, you can try Eb1a by yourself. It is risky, however, you could win some time. Since Eb1a could also be pending for a long period, your NIW could be approved before Eb1a is decided.
