我的waiver申请可能快approval了，Recommendation已经8/13/201 Sent了。现在新学校正在给我做paper work工作。我的想法是这样的，8老师您帮我参考参考是否现实。
1.我希望新学校给我J-1 visa，这样我可以以J-1再呆两年，之后转换成H1B visa。H1B最多可在美国呆6年，前后加起来我可以再呆8年。也就是说我可以有8年的宽松时间申请green card。对吗？
-After you get the J-1 waiver, you are not allowed to renew your J-1 anymore and have to change it to H1 or other status.
2. 在waiver正式生效前（是否是我拿到USCIS通知时候开始？），我是不是可以有两种方式让新学校给我J-1 visa。一种是把现有J-1transfer过去，我的DS-2019表到2014年才过期。另一种方式是新学校给我发新的J-1，这种能行吗？
-After you get the J1 waiver, you can stay in the same school/same program with your existed J-1 until it ends,, but you can not change the program/sponsor with J-1.
新的J-1会不会使我J-1 waiver失效，因为当初申请的时候要求填写所有的DS-2019表信息。现在又再要求学校给新的DS-2019，是否导致waiver填写信息不全而失效？
