刚收到485ref信,要求我补交材料证明刚来美国头一年的身份证明.
当时是以h4身份入境的,来之后的一年先生换单位,新的单位帮申请有i-797.但之前的那一年没有.
ref信中说我必须补交资料证明,可能包括的资料有:i-797/i-20/i-94
我的理解是我当时的状况,只补交i-94就可以吧?

The IO must have been confused in your case and ask you to provide the status proof even if you had been China anb reentered US using another new visa. Based on the immigration law, you only need to prove your legal status since your last entry.
我目前能找到的只有那张1-94的正面复印,背面没有,
