J1/J2 waiver

Any ideas or information would be appreciated.

I had a J2 record, and my hu*****and had fulfilled the two-year home country physical presence requirement. If I want to get my J2 status waived now, how should I do that? Should my hu*****and apply for it? or I must fulfill the two-year requirement back to China?
