我有一位来美国快半年的朋友，她是J1，半年签证。现在想延期几个月。学校说她必须到第三国和回国签证，才能延期。有人说一年J1签证容易延期。是不是这样？
-The school is wrong and she can extend her J1 within US if her I-94 has not expired yet. It is very simple perocedure and just need her school International Scholar Office to issue a new DS-2019 form and then, the Office send the application to DOS for approval. That is all.
