-Check the visa bulletin every month to see whether the priority date is current. If yes, file I-485. However, F4 category (US citizen sponsoring brother/sister) takes about 10 years for the PD to be current, so he needs to wait for a long time to file I-485.

还有他留学身份毕业后如果呆在美国，等排期的时候不是就黑了，那等排期到了对I485申请有影响吗？
